United Community Bank of West Kentucky
This financial institution was struggling with a language barrier due to an influx in Spanish-speaking customers. After sitting down with their team to determine the specific challenges that were impeding client success, we got right to work.
We first localized several of their marketing and informational pieces into Spanish that addressed the main concerns that their customers were experiencing.
Then, we provided access to on-site interpreters to facilitate seamless communication during face-to-face meetings that would not have been possible otherwise.
Lastly, one of our language instructors led a 16-week Spanish as a second language program for the English-speaking bank tellers so that they could feel confident conversing with Spanish-speaking clients as they were approached. From written language to spoken language to language acquisition, this is just one of many examples where we have taken a measured approach to helping our clients break through barriers to communication.
